Within the town are a number of excellent restaurants including the internationally renowned Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant and his various other establishments, together with many other high class restaurants and pubs.
The Camel Trail is within a short walk, ideal for walking or cycling, and there are some of the best beaches of North Cornwall within easy reach. There are some lovely coastal walks and a wide variety of water sports is available on the River Camel.
